Our international online school Bingo invites children and teenagers from around the world to study with us. In addition to offering a wide range of foreign languages and other educational subjects, we place special emphasis on teaching bilingual children.
Second language teaching methodology for bilingual children and teenagers is completely different from foreign language teaching methodology for non-bilingual children and teenagers. The reason is that balanced bilinguals do speak well in their both native languages (which we cannot consider foreign languages in this case). However, their level cannot be compared to that of their monolingual peers, for whom that language is their native language. There is no doubt that the main issue is that bilingual children and teenagers lack a social network in that language and also are educated in another language. That is precisely why their vocabulary is limited to everyday use, and their writing skills suffer the most. Language classes for bilinguals aim at broadening their vocabulary in different fields, filling the possible gaps, as well as paying due attention to linguistic and cultural components, which include elements of the culture of the country where the bilinguals’ second language is spoken. Among them, we find realia, geography, history, literature, and arts of that country. It is necessary to understand also that the main element for bilinguals to assimilate their second native language is motivation. Bilinguals often lose their motivation towards the language and culture because they are in an environment where their second native language is not spoken. Language classes for bilinguals aim at sustaining their motivation towards their language and culture, at promoting cross-cultural communication, and at fostering the interests and hobbies of children and teenagers.

We accept students from 7 to 17 years of age. If you do not fall within this range and wish to enroll, your child may still be accepted at the discretion of the teacher.
